Add Page Numbers

Add sequential page numbers to every physical page of a PDF and download the result.

Processing

The PDF is updated in browser memory and this workflow does not send the document to a Stocknivo conversion endpoint. The preview may load the PDF.js script from cdnjs; its worker is served by this site. These are runtime assets, not document uploads. This tool is not fully offline.

How it works

Choose one PDF, then select a number format, starting number, font size, margin, color, and one of six fixed positions. Pages are numbered in their existing order.

Limits and unsupported cases

The input may be up to 50 MiB and 200 pages; output is limited to 100 MiB. Every physical page is numbered in order. The starting number and final number must be from 1 to 999999. Four number formats, six fixed positions, font sizes of 8–24 pt, and margins of 20–100 pt are available. Page selection, opacity, generated rotation, and collision detection are not provided. Pages with existing rotation are rejected; preservation of advanced PDF structures is not guaranteed.
